“I Have an Idea,” a Burnsville First Tech Challenge robotics team, is hosting a FREE workshop entitled “Engineering Awesomeness”! It will be held on Sunday, September 25, from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the Edina Library (5280 Grandview Square).
This fun day will provide engineering design education and hands-on learning with stations featuring challenges such as:
- Making your paper airplane carry the most pennies and fly the farthest,
- Creating foil boats that float with the most weight,
- Building an architecturally sound structure out of toothpicks and gumdrops that can support the weight of a book,
- And many, many more!
This workshop is geared to ages 10 and up. Space is limited, so please send your name and the number of children 10+ to Darcy.Schatz@gmail.com by September 20. Upon receipt of your email you will receive additional preparatory information for the workshop.
